How the government is trying to force me to pay for abortions!

Even if you're not a Christian but you believe in equal rights, please read this. There
are new laws our government is trying to put in place that will force a person to pay for something that is completely against their religion.

It's time to wake up. Your freedoms are being eroded under the disguise of " ending the attacks on a woman's right to choose." Pro choice legislation is currently moving through the Congress under the names: Freedom of Choice Act (F.O.C.A.), Prevention first Act, Responsible Education about Life Act (REAL) Compassionate Assistance for Rape Emergencies Act (CARE), Equity in Prescription Insurance and Contraceptive Coverage Act (EPICC) and others. In reality if these bills are passed and become law you can expect:

1. All hospitals, including Catholic hospitals will be required to perform abortions upon request. If this happens Bishops, across the U.S. have said that they will close down. This effects 30% of the hospitals open for buisness today.

2. Partial birth abortions would be legal and there would be no limitations.

3. All U.S. taxpayers would be funding Abortions.

4. Parental notification will no longer be required.

5. Abortions could go up by 100,000 - 125,000 annually

6. Federal funding of Planned Parenthood services would triple

7. Federal funding for establishing the first ever sex education plan for young people

8. Federal tax dollars to pay for emergency contraception in the case of rape. (approx. 25,000 per year)

9. Federal tax dollars to pay for Insurance Plan Contraception prescriptions for birth control.

For those of us Christians who are Catholic Christians this means that the money we earn and that is taxed and sent to the Federal, State and local governments will go to fund State sponsored Abortion. Those tax dollars will be used to foster scandal by promoting the killing of the unborn through teaching programs. But most of all we become complicit in the intentional homicide, Infanticide, even if it is unintentional. One is not exonerated from grave offense if, without proportionate reasons, he/she has acted in a way that brings about the death of someone even without the intention to do so.

Holy Scripture is ripe with passages that point to protection and respect we must afford Human Life:

1. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. and before you were born I consecrated you.
Jer 1:5; Job 10: 8-12 and Ps 22; 10-11

Since the 1st century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. Direct abortion, that is to say abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law:

1. You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish.
Didache 2,2-SCh 248, 148; cf. Ep. Barnabae19, 5;PG 2 777; Ad Diognetum 5,6 PG 2 1173; Tertullian, Apol. 9-PL 1, 319-320

Formal cooperation in an abortion constitutes a grave offense. The Catholic Church attaches the canonical penalty of excommunication to this crime against Human life and this is done latae sententiae ( " by the very commission of the offense."). Here the Church makes clear the gravity of the crime committed.( The irreparable harm done to the innocent, who is put to death, as well as to the Parents and the Community / Society as a whole.)

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states; "The inalienable rights of the person must be recognized and respected by civil society and the political authority. These human rights depend neither on single individuals nor on parents; nor for they represent a concession made by society and the state; they belong to human nature and are inherent in the person by virtue of the creative act from which the person took his origin. Among such fundamental rights one should mention in this regard every human beings right to life and physical integrity from the moment of conception until death."

"The moment a positive law deprives a category of human beings of the protection which civil legislation ought to afford them, the state is denying the equality of all before the law. When the state does not place its power at the service of the rights of each citizen, and in particular of the more vulnerable, the very foundations of a state based on law are undermined... As a consequence for the respect and protection which must be ensured for the unborn child from the moment of conception, the law must provide appropriate penal sanctions for every deliberate violation of the child’s rights."

Since it must be treated from conception as a person, the embryo must be defended in its integrity, cared for and healed, as far as possible, like any other human being." In God's hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all Mankind." (Job 12:10). Those of us who chose a society that respects life must be willing to step forward and ante up. The Pro Abortion crowd has taken to the offensive and its take no prisoners agenda will leave us Christians beaten and enslaved to their evil design. This cannot be allowed to happen. Pray for their defeat and call and write your Senator and Congressman. You must understand that no other current issue carries such overwhelming and far reaching changes than the legislation listed above.

BORN AT 22 WEEKS

I found this image and story as I was looking to see what my baby should look about now in the womb at 22 weeks. I truly find it amazing for a child who was born just past 22 weeks can live! After seeing and reading about this mother and her baby, I find it even more upsetting that people in this nation feel they can just throw away a human life, all because they don't want to have to deal with the responsibility. It's okay to kill babies in the womb but it's awful to cut down a tree because they have feelings, and the list goes on how much we treat plant life and animals with more respect than human life!

After reading this article, I am even more upset with the fact that people can still call themselves Christians and then vote for Obama. It just doesn't make any sense at all!

The Myspace Epidemic of "Prostitots"

Having a myspace account helps me keep in touch with extended family, friends, and old friends I don’t get to talk to all that much anymore. But, then I have my students at dance wanting to be my “Friend” and I felt okay with the idea of them being able to look at my page. I don’t have anything scandalous on my page or crazy pictures of me partying. Then, one day I went to a student of mine's page and my jaw about fell off. She had a lot of pictures that were angled at her body nowhere for her face to be found. Another was a shot of her and her friend's cleavage and also a picture of her looking lustfully into the camera with the caption titled, “Slut Bucket.” She was calling herself a slut-bucket? I just find it completely unbelievable that a girl is calling herself that. Just goes to show how much respect she has for herself.

I am very concerned for the female youth of America at this moment. It dumbfounds me how quickly the female youth from eight years ago, when I had just begun high school, has become consumed with showing everything and not leaving anything to the imagination. Even the girls who seem to have a good head on their shoulders still have these pictures showing themselves in sexual positions or just angling the camera to take a picture of their breast down the rest of their body.

Is it me? Or, has anyone else come across a friend, cousin, student, or daughter who does this? I have seen at least ten girls’ profiles which do this.
